She later studied at the New York Art Student's League, the Vermont Studio School and with renowned NC artist Jaquelin Jenkins. Pamela taught at arts centers, private schools and community colleges in her native NC until her interest in Greece, philosophically and culturally, prompted her to move to Poros Island in 1989. There she leads artists' workshops and is a lecturer on the History of Greek Art and director for University Alumni educational groups from the US and Canada.

Pamela's representational and symbolic paintings have been exhibited in North Carolina, Virginia and Greece, and have won numerous awards. Her paintings are included in private and corporate collections throughout the world, including one in Buckingham Palace.

Pamela’s memoir,  GREEKSCAPES Illustrated Journeys with an Artist has been re-released to include her paintings.
